These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Fincard and any related services we may offer (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. What the service is
Fincard is an educational financial-literacy tool. You enter your financial data and the Service computes 8 financial health ratios, displays them on a colour-coded report card, and provides AI-generated plain-English explanations. The Service is intended to help you understand your own financial position over time. It is not intended to provide investment, tax, legal, or accounting advice.
2. SEBI disclaimer (full version)
Fincard is NOT a SEBI-registered investment advisor. We are not registered with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) under the SEBI (Investment Advisers) Regulations, 2013, or any equivalent regulation. We do not provide investment advice, recommend specific financial products, or earn commissions from any financial institution. All outputs of the Service are for educational and informational purposes only.
Nothing in the Service constitutes (a) a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security or financial product; (b) a personalised investment plan; (c) tax advice; (d) legal advice; or (e) an offer or solicitation. Please consult a SEBI-registered investment adviser for personalised investment decisions.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872, to use the Service.
4. Your responsibilities
- Accurate data entry. The Service computes ratios entirely from data you enter. You are responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and currency of the data you provide.
- Do not treat outputs as advice. You agree not to rely on the Service's outputs as investment, tax, or legal advice. You will consult a SEBI-registered adviser, a qualified chartered accountant, or another licensed professional before making any decision involving the purchase, sale, or holding of a financial product.
- Keep your credentials safe. You are responsible for the security of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
- Lawful use. You will not use the Service for any unlawful purpose, will not attempt to reverse-engineer it, and will not interfere with its operation or the experience of other users.
5. Subscriptions and billing
- Plans. The Service offers a Free Pilot Plan (see §6), a monthly Pro plan (₹199/month), an annual Pro plan, and a Lifetime plan (₹3,999 one-time). All prices include 18% GST.
- Payments. Payments are processed by Razorpay. We never see or store your card details.
- Auto-renewal. Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled.
- Cancellation. You can cancel any paid subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; you continue to have access until then.
6. Free Pilot Plan terms
- The Free Pilot Plan provides full Pro access free of charge for 30 days.
- The Free Pilot Plan is limited to the first 50 users to sign up. Once that quota is filled, the offer closes.
- No credit card is required to start the Free Pilot Plan.
- After 30 days, you can choose to (a) let your account revert to a free, limited tier, (b) start a paid Pro subscription, or (c) purchase a Lifetime plan. We will not automatically charge you.
7. Refunds
We offer a 7-day refund on all paid plans. If you are unsatisfied for any reason, email hello@fincard.ai within 7 days of the initial charge and we will issue a full refund to the original payment method.
8. Intellectual property
The Service — including the Fincard name, logo, code, content, design, the eight-ratio methodology, AI prompts, and all related materials — is the property of Fincard and its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes during your subscription. Your financial inputs remain yours.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
- Fincard is not liable for any investment, tax, or financial outcome you experience as a result of relying on the Service. The Service is educational; financial decisions are yours.
- In no event will our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service exceed the greater of (a) ₹2,000 or (b) the total amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
10. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from your settings, or by emailing hello@fincard.ai. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, abuse the Service, or use it unlawfully.

12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email and an in-product notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
